This is a hunt for a gold medal red stag up to 350” with one of Argentina’s top 5-star outfitters. Their lodge sits on 85,000 acres of free-ranging ranch their family has owned for over 100 years. This hunt will occur on a 6,000-acre high-fenced portion of that ranch. Upgraded stags are available. With 12 species to hunt and 5-star lodging and food, this is a great deal on what will be a memorable hunt to Argentina!

The Gold Medal Red Stag Hunting Area.

The 6,000-acre section of their hunting ranch where this hunt will take place is located in Argentina’s La Pampa Region. The nearest town is Santa Rosa. The terrain is flat with bushes and dunes. There are no big hills in this area.

The La Pampa region of Argentina is known for its cattle ranches and the quality of big game hunting. The rotational grazing system used on this land produces excellent grass and attracts lots of wildlife.

With 12 big game species to hunt, many trophies are waiting for you to hunt.

 

Hunting Red Stag in La Pampa

The total hunting area encompasses over 85,000 acres. This hunt for a Gold medal trophy red stag will take place on the 6,000-acre estate portion of their ranch. A vehicle will get you to the day’s hunting area, and then the hunt will proceed on foot.  Your hunt will be for a gold medal stag of up to 350”. Bigger stags are available upon request.

A typical day’s hunt will proceed as follows:

MORNING HUNT: Start the day with a complete fresh breakfast to charge energy and initiate the hunting. Start the hunt with the first rise of the sunlight accompanied by an expert guide who will help you reach your target by the spot and stalk style of hunting.

MIDDAY: Recharge for the afternoon hunt with an exquisite lunch.

AFTERNOON HUNT: Hunters and guides will head back to continue the hunt.

DINNER: Share your stories from the day over an evening outdoor or indoor dinner with local food, fine wines, and sweet treats.

After your trophy red stag has been taken, you can continue your hunt by hunting one of the other big game species that are available on this property. There are an estimated 2,000 red stags on this property. Additionally, an estimated 3,000 blackbucks, 1,000 boars, and 600 water buffaloes roam this vast property.

The larger stags, Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, and Mouflon are found on the estate portion of this ranch. Silver or Gold medal trophies can be expected. For these Estate species. The other species are found roaming free on the remaining 79,000 acres including a large herd of water buffalo and free-range axis deer.

Bow Hunting

The outfitter also offers spot and stalk bow hunting for most species. Success on estate red stags runs high, but getting close with a bow is challenging and requires good accuracy. If you have not gotten a stag within 4 days, you will have the option of switching to a rifle.

Red Stag Hunting Seasons

The hunting season for Estate Red Stags at this outfitter runs from May through July. Earlier in the season, the outfitter offers free-range red stag hunting.

The 5-Star Trophy Red Stag Lodge

The 5-star lodge is designed in a minimalist style. The lodge has five spacious & peaceful bedroom suites, which are styled with rustic simplicity to bring the outside inside so that you enjoy the warmth of the guest rooms while feeling a connection to your surroundings.

The 5 spacious rooms feature either a king bed or twin beds, walk-in rain showers, central heating, and security safes.

The Chef will create an eating experience unlike anything else using the best seasonal products from local producers. Each meal will be an experience that will take you to a different place in Argentina, honoring the outfitter’s family, history, and traditions.

 

Getting to La Pampa

Hunters will fly into Buenos Aires. Depending on the arrival time, an overnight stay in Buenos Aires may be necessary. A transfer from the International Airport to the domestic airport will be necessary to take a commercial flight from Buenos Aires to Santa Rosa. The outfitter will meet you in Santa Rosa and provide transportation to his hunting lodge.

 

Trophy Handling and Care

Your trophies will be skinned, salted and when ready, placed in a packing crate for transportation to the Expediter. The typical time frame for this process is 1-2 months.

 

Rental Rifles

The outfitter has more than 15 rifles available in different calibers, including 308, 300, 30-06, 223 and 22.

 

Deposit Policy

A deposit of 50% is required to book and reserve dates. The balance of the package is due 30 days before the start of the hunt. The outfitter accepts Bank wires, personal checks, and cash as payment. They do NOT accept credit cards!

 

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable. Hunts may be rescheduled 1 time with notice at least 30 days before the hunt. A rescheduling fee of $150 is to be paid directly to the booking agent before rescheduled dates are set. Cancellations or no-shows less than 30 days before the start of the hunt will forfeit the deposit.
